Call for Participation: Digital Product Passport: Overview and Fundamental Principles
UN/CEFACT is pleased to launch a call for participation for the project “Digital Product Passport: Overview and Fundamental Principles.”
The global transition toward a circular and sustainable economy requires enhanced transparency, traceability, and accessibility of product-related information throughout the entire product lifecycle. The Digital Product Passport (DPP) is emerging as a key enabler by providing a product-specific, electronically accessible set of data supporting sustainability, compliance, and innovation.
This project will develop a high-level Business Requirements Specification (BRS) to provide a harmonized overview of the DPP concept, architecture, governance principles, and its relationship with existing standards and regulatory initiatives, supporting globally interoperable Digital Product Passport systems.
